Obituary of Richard McSmith Davis

Richard M. Davis of Amityville, LI, Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines died on February 1, 2023 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Margie Joan Davis. Loving father of James Lawson Davis (Susan), Donna Marie Benz (George) and Gary Dean Davis. Cherished grandfather of Cassondra, Amanda and Brianna Benz. Fond cousin of Missy (Amecia) Williams (Aldric) and Iselle Duncan. Brother of Lertis Davis and Bernice Wilson in England and is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in the USA, Canada and Bequia. The family will receive friends Friday, February 10, 2023, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm and Saturday, February 11, 2023, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Prayer 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. As an alternative to flowers the family has suggested memorial contributions in Mr. Davis' name be be made to the Amityville USFD, Northwest School, 150 Park Ave., Amityville, NY 11701 for a project to benefit the children of Northwest School. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
