Venezia, Eva, (née DeCristofaro) of Massapequa, on August 28, 2016. Devoted wife of Dr. Arthur J., loving mother of Dr. Donna Venezia (Dr. Steven Walerstein), Carol Venezia (Joseph), Lynda Viti (Felice), Laurence Venezia (Mina) and Diane Venezia (Scott Livingston). Cherished grandmother of Shara (Simon), Jason (Meagan), Dylan, Derek, Sydney, Alessandra, John and Christian. Beloved great grandmother to Linnèa. Loving sister to Elena Wermers and the late Ezio DeCristofaro. Visiting will be held at Powell Funeral Home, 67 Broadway (Rte 110), Amityville on Tuesday, August 30 from 2-4:30 p.m. & 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Wednesday, August 31 at 11 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, Amityville. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
