Eckelkamp-Batz, Linda M. of Amityville, LI on January 25, 2016. Beloved wife of William. Loving mother of Allan and Edward Batz (Lynn). Cherished grandmother of Zachery, Katie, Jesse, Ben, Riley and Logan. Dear sister of Paul G. Stevens, Jr. (Peggy), Marguerite Bried (John), Kathleen Hatcher (the late Paul), Michael Stevens (Gail), Brian Stevens (Rose), Joseph Stevens and Patrick Stevens (Linda). Fond aunt to her several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews. Linda is also survived by her extended family, four daughters, one son, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Reposing Thursday evening 7-9:30 PM and Friday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 PM at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30 AM St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville. Cremation will be private. The family has asked that memorial contributions be considered, as an alternative to flowers, to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or Rotary International Foundation.
