Gilmore (Maureen).Cherished grandfather of Cara Hamilton (Andrew), James Fenner (Caroline), Caroline Gilmore, James J. Gilmore, III, Katherine Bertschi, Mary Helen Bertschi, John Paul Bertschi, Terence Gilmore and Kyra Gilmore. Adored great grandfather of Mary Grace Hamilton, Cormac Fenner and Suzanna Fenner. Reposing Thursday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 PM at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Funeral Mass Friday 10:30 AM St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville. Interment with Military Honors in Long Island National Cemetery. As an alternative to flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be directed to the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement,40 Franciscan Way Garrison, NY 10524. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
