Gray, Wilfred J. of Amityville, L.I. on March 26, 2013 in Newton, Ma. Beloved husband of Mary (Breen) Gergen-Gray and the late Jeanne M. Gray. Loving father of Jeanne Miller. Dear stepfather of Marie Cuevas (Richard), Jennifer Gergen (Lyle Piper) and Dawn Queisser (Elmer Murillo). Cherished grandfather of Michael and Matthew Miller, Kyle, Brittany and Devin Cuevas and Bailey Piper. Fond uncle of Harold and William Stuven. Dear brother of the late Henry Gray, Eva Stuven and Hilda Shermen. Mr. Gray was a proud Navy veteran of WW II, a retired Principal, Director of Athletics and Director of Technology, he was also a member of the Amityville Historical Society. Reposing Tuesday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Funeral Mass Wednesday 9:30 A.M. St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, Amityville. Interment to follow in Calverton National Cemetery. As an alternative to flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to the Amityville Historical Society, 170 Broadway, Amityville, N.Y. 11701. Envelopes available at the funeral home
