Obituary of Edward Kohlhepp, Jr.

Edward Kohlhepp, Jr. of Frederick, MD. (formerly of West Babylon, N.Y.) on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in Frederick, Md. Born August 10, 1932 in West Islip, N.Y. to Edward and Louise Miller Kohlhepp. Ed was an avid consumer of sugary treats and a practitioner of practical jokes. He is survived by two sons, Edward, III and his wife Kate of Frederick, MD. & John and his wife Lynn of Virginia Beach, VA, grandchildren, Kerri Kohlhepp of Nashville, TN, Kevin Kohlhepp of Auburn, AL and Kara Paul of Chesapeake Beach, VA, great grandchildren, Hannah and Jake Paul, a sister, Joan Somma and her husband Nicholas of Deer Park, NY and a brother Robert Kohlhepp of Amityville, NY. Ed is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Memorial visiting will be held April 13, 2013 from 2-4:30 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Memorial service at 4:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
