George K. Rey of Amityville, LI on January 23, 2024. Former proprietor of the Cross Island Inn in Amityville.Proud US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Beloved son of the late John and Margaret Rey. Loving brother of Margie Monaco, George was predeceased by 6 of his siblings. Loving uncle to a loving family of four generations. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 pm. A celebration of George's life will begin at 8:00 pm. Closing prayer at 10:00 am Friday, January 26, 2024. Interment with Military Honors will follow pending cemetery confirmation.
