Titone- John Joseph of Copiague, NY on January 12, 2024. Beloved husband to Florence Titone for 70 years. Loving father of John Titone (Kathy),  Sam Titone and  the late James J. Titone.

Adored Grandfather of James P. Titone (Carina) and Andrea Titone (Alex). Treasured Great Grandfather of Andrew, Avery, Aiden and Charlotte. Cherished brother of Jean Brody and the late Eleanor, Anna, Nancy, and Matthew.

John was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.  He served his country honorably during WW II as a combat Infantryman in Europe. John  was an avid boater. He joined the Coast Guard Auxillary. Eventually becoming commander of Flotilla 13 in Freeport, Long Island, He was proud to be a part of his country's Bicentennial with his flotilla by escorting tall ships up the Hudson River during Opsail.

John and his wife Florence bought a home in Baldwin, L.I. where they raised their family. After raising their family they eventually moved and settled  in Amityville, L.I.

John also loved Formula A Racing, which he enjoyed watching with his late brother Matthew.

He will be missed.

Donations can be made in John's memory to Tunnel to Towers, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
