Obituary of Judith B. Schmitz

Judith (Judi) B. Schmitz of Copiague, LI on June 16, 2023. Beloved mother of Barbara Hultberg (Andrew) and Kathleen Schmitz. Cherished grandmother of Christopher and Patrick Hultberg. Judi was a longtime soccer coach of the Copiague Fisherman and a longtime employee of Renu Contracting in Copiague. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, June 18, 2023 from 7-9:30 pm and Monday, June 19, 2023, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30At the Funeral home.. A funeral service will be celebrated Monday evening at 7:30 pm. Committal prayers will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Long Island Cremation Company. The family has suggested memorial contributions in Judi's name to the Hospice Inn, 70 Pinelawn Rd., Melville, NY 11747-3106. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
