William J Hoye, longtime resident of Amityville, NY, died of complications from a coma on April 27, 2023. William is survived by his former wife, Elizabeth; his children, Matthew, Patrick, and Amy; his granddaughter Keagan; his brother Michael and sister Patricia; and his niece and nephews, Melissa, Michael, Kyle, and Ryan, as well as his great nieces and nephews. The family will hold a memorial service at Powell Funeral Home on Saturday, May 6th, from 7PM to 9PM, and all family, friends, and neighbors are welcome, as William never met a stranger in his life, and loved his hometown with all his heart.
