Obituary of Theresa A. Harte

Theresa A. Harte-Wackstein of Amityville, NY at the age of 61 died peacefully at home on Thursday January 6th, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Ronnie. Her loss will continue to be felt by her mother, Lois Harte, brother Jim and sister Eileen as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Patrick Harte and her sister, Rosemary Blansett. Theresa was a Veterinary Technician for 40 years and her compassion for animals and the families she helped was clearly evident and was appreciated by everyone who knew her. She loved summers and taking her boat to the beach or just spending quality time with good friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 at the funeral home, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 7:30 pm. Cremation will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
