Berning, Elizabeth A. of North Babylon, L.I. on July 2, 2012. Miss Berning is survived by her loving sister Martha and was predeceased by her brother Bill Berning. She is also survived by her extended family, Anthony, LaShawn & A.J. Williams. Reposing Thursday and Friday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Funeral service Friday 7:30 P.M. Prayer Saturday 10:00 A.M. followed by interment in Amityville Cemetery. The family has requested memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to the Elizabeth A. Berning Memorial Scholarship Fund. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
