Born and raised in Brooklyn, and a veteran of the US Army, Bob rose to the rank of Captain in the NYPD. After retiring, he pursued his love of jazz by performing regularly with his band The Saturday Night Stompers. Among the many career highlights of his band is an appearance in the movie “Arthur 2: On The Rocks” and an epic performance at Lincoln Center in New York City. He is survived by his loving wife Katherine, his son Robert, daughter-in-law Aimee, daughter Kimmet, grandchildren Michael and Lily, his sister Dorothy, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by many.
