Whelan – Helen, of Seaford, N.Y. on April 10, 2017. Beloved mother of William Whelan (Barbara) and Carol Grogan. Loving grandmother of Cathleen, Robert, Brian, Christina, Michael and Kevin. Cherished great-grandmother of Jack, Mary, Owen and Quin. Visitation Monday 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:30 A.M. at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, Amityville. Private cremation to follow. She will be missed by many. Family has requested donations in Helen's memory to Mommas House 1857 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793.
