Obituary of John P. McLaughlin

John P. Mclaughlin of Massapequa, LI  on March 28, 2024. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Tim Mclaughlin (Colleen Kelly), Kevin McLaughlin (Grace) and Jennifer Smyth (Thomas). Cherished grandfather of Kaila, Patrick, Amelia, Molly, Devon, Dylan, Anna and Sophia. Dear son of the late Timothy and Mary Fitzgerald, we also want to remember John's father, Patrick McLaughlin, who pre - deceased him at an early age. Fond brother of the late Patricia Haupt. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 4, 2024 10:30 am, by Father Tony Stanganelli, in St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville. Cremation will be private. The family has requested memorial contributions, as alternative to flowers, be made to The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
