Obituary of Mary M. Bores

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

With great sorrow and broken hearts we announce the passing of our mom, Mary Bores. Beloved Mother, Grandmother "Welle", Sister, and friend to all she met along the way. Mom passed peacefully and spent her last days doing what she loved most, enjoying the company of her family. Mom pridefully shined knowing she put all of her heart into creating our family. Celebrating our love on every occasion with every ounce of herself. She will be remembered dearly, and live on in the hearts of her 4 children and 9 grandchildren. We love you mom.

Mary leaves behind her daughter, Natalie Gottlieb (Adam), her three sons, Keith Staples, Edward Carroll (Stephanie) and Brian Carroll (Andrea). Nine grandchildren, Joseph, Isabella, Gillian, Nolie, Olivia, David, Jake, Benjamin and Aubrey as well as her two sisters, Millie Zopf (Robert) and Carmen Blackburn. Mary is also survived by her former husbands, Edward Carroll and Bruce Staples.  The family will receive friends Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm at the funeral home. Wake prayers will be conducted by Deacon Michael Aprile at 7:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville at 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 by the Reverend Gerard Gordon, Pastor.
