Obituary of Theresa Murphy

Theresa Murphy of Amityville, LI on November 24, 2023. Beloved wife of the late John J. Murphy. Loving mother of  John J. Murphy, Jr. (Joan), James W. Murphy, Neil D. (Newt) Murphy, the late Michael O. Murphy and the late Daniel P. Murphy. Dear grandmother of Christopher McCarthy. Fond sister of John W. (Buddy) and Theodora (Teddy) Toomey, Anne Bayha, Mary Engelbert and the late Elizabeth Wichert. Mrs. Murphy is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends, Monday, November 27, 2023 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm. Wake prayers will be conducted at 7:30 pm by Deacon Pat Labella. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 9:30 A.M. in St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville by the Reverend Gerard Gordon, Pastor. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery, Amityville.
