Gasser, Eleanor of Massapequa Park, L.I. passed peacefully on November 3, 2010 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Joseph. Loving mother of Joseph, Carol Murray, Thomas (Linda) and John (Tara). Cherished sister of Emma Wolfe and Joseph Barget. Adored grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 5. Mrs. Gasser was predeceased by her parents Emma and Lawrence Weiser. Reposing this evening (Friday) 7-9:30 P.M. and Saturday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Funeral service Saturday evening 8:00 P.M. Cremation will be private.
