Obituary of Desmond A. Gaines

Desmond was born on April 6, 1981, to his mother, the late Brenda Gaines, who raised him as a single parent. They moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where Desmond attended Ben Davis High School, later obtaining his GED. Shortly after graduating Desmond began to travel. He set up stakes in Tennessee, where he met his companion, Renee Clay. Desmond loved to make people laugh and was kind and friendly to everyone he met. His motto was “I got you”. Desmond will surely be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Gaines and he leaves to cherish his memory his sister Treasure Hawkins, three aunts, Barbara, Victoria and Jennifer, three uncles, Charles, Frank and Daniel and a host of cousins and friends.
