I have fond memories growing up around JK and Marion. They were the fun ones in the group and were always kind to the little kids trailing after them. Jimmy was a loyal friend to my family. My thoughts are with you.
I loved Jim's gentle nature and great sense of humor. He always had a smile and a kind word. The love for his family shined through his eyes when his words fell silent. We had a chance to work together in 1995 - Cablevision raised $15,000 for the Suffolk Fire Academy during/after the Riverhead wildfires that year. I remember the day I worked side by side with the chief loading up supplies from the old Fd on green Ave moving to New HQ on West Oak street. He will be missed by all.
