Ward- Gary S. of Amityville, NY on March 15, 2023. Beloved husband of Kathleen A. Ward. Loving father of Brian Ward. Devoted brother of Lynn Ward and Jim Ward (Patricia). Cherished Uncle to many nieces and nephews as well as many cousins. Visitation Saturday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm at Powell Funeral Home, 67 Broadway (110), Amityville, NY. Cremation will be private. Gary retired from NYNEX with over 24 years. He then went on to work for the Amityville School District and was a Nassau County Auxiliary Police Officer for 19 years. He was an avid Yankee fan and loved hunting and the outdoors. He will be missed.
