Robert John More died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was a resident of Lebanon, New Hampshire and 44 years old. The loss of Robert is immeasurable; he has left an indelible mark on our hearts, where he will reside for eternity. Robert was the youngest of three sons and older brother to his little sister. He is survived by his sons, Ryan and Anthony, his parents, Kathleen and Brian, his brothers, Brian and Michael and his sister Jennifer Squicciarini. He is also survived by his sister in law Wendy Monterosso, brother in law James Squicciarini, his many nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. Robert’s love of family, incredible sense of humor and intellectual wit were cherished by all. Robert was resilient and accomplished. He persevered through life’s many challenges and lived a life of service, he honorably served as a United States Marine, and rose to the rank of Captain for the State of Maryland Corrections Department. He retired after twenty plus years of dedicated service and moved to New Hampshire to enjoy the beauty of the environment there. Robert received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Maryland University. He traveled the world while deployed on the USS Saipan (LHA-2) a Tarawa class amphibious assault ship and generously shared his tales with all. Robert was an amazing story teller who could make you laugh until you lost control. He loved Ryan and Anthony more than anything and took great pride in the incredible people they have become. He beamed with pride when he talked about them, they are his legacy on this world.
The family wishes to invite everyone to lunch at the Amityville Fire Department, 55 West Oak Street, Amityville, immediatly following Robert's inurnment in L.I. National Cemetery to continue the celebration of his life.
