Obituary of Virginia Sherwood

Virginia Sherwood of West Babylon, LI on June 1, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Frederick John Sherwood. Loving mother of Michael Sherwood and Gail Sherwood. Cherished grandmother of Kassandra Sherwood and her fiance Noah. Mrs Sherwood is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 am in St. Boniface Episcopal Church,100 46th Street, Lindenhurst. Inurnment will follow in the St. Boniface Episcopal Church Columbarium. As an alternative to flowers, the family has requested memorial donations in Mrs. Sherwood's name be made to the John Theissen Children's Foundation, 1881 Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh, NY 11793.
