Obituary of Rena Y Crenshaw

On March 12, 2022, Rena Y. Crenshaw quietly answered the call of the master to a home of peace and rest. Rena was born in Washington, NC on June 8, 1964, to John and Ozedra Morris.

 

Rena moved to New York as a baby. She graduated from Copiague High school. She went to Nassau Community College where she took up Secretarial Science. Rena decided after 30 years out of school to go back, where she attended Suffolk Community College. In 2007, she was baptized and joined St John’s Baptist Church of Copiague and served on the usher board. Rena was a lifetime member of the North Amityville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as President, Vice President, and Secretary. Rena worked for Estée Lauder for 20+ years.

 

Those left to cherish her memories are her mother Ozedra and father John Morris; Brother Clinton Morris; Sisters Jeanette Morris, Yvette Miller, and Shakena Morris; Sons Terrel Morris (Latosha), Bruce Crenshaw(Jenny); Daughters Ebony Crenshaw-Jones(Marquis), Justina Morris; Grandchildren Jahkel, Avant, Janiya, Jahlil, Maliah; Goddaughter Makayla Morris; Best friend Joan Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
