Lydia Icangelo of Copiague, LI Passed away on January 15, 2022. Born in the Dominican Republic on April 25, 1942 to the late Porfirio Aristy and Laura Pereyra. Beloved mother of Alex (Mary), Bobby (Mary) and John. Dear sister of Celeste and the late Hector, the late Altagacia, the late Nicholas and the late Carmen Mercedes. She is also survived by her many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews . Lydia had a strong faith in God and spent many years working at Catholic outreach and helping others. She will be remembered as a generous and loving woman who truly cared for her family and friends The family will have a private viewing Friday, January 21, 2022, 9:30 – 10:30 am after which a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption RC Church, 1 Molloy Street, Copiague, NY at 11:00 am. Cremation will be private
