Sara A. Powell (Sally) of Amityville, LI on June 22, 2021. Former Deputy Village Clerk in the Village of Amityville. Beloved wife of Wesley C. Powell. Loving mother of Wesley A. (Andy) Powell (Beverly), Nancy A. Sheridan (Michael), Stephen D. Powell (Wendy) and William C. Powell (Michelle) Cherished grandmother of Kathleen A. Gray (Brendan), Bryan P. Sheridan, Wesley S. Powell, Mary Elizabeth Sheridan, William F. Powell, Sarah M. Powell and Mike Schower (Shawn). Devoted great grandmother of Casey M. Gray, Kiersten Schower and Amanda Schower. Dear sister of William A. McCollough (Suzanne). The family will receive friends Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm at the funeral home. A prayer service will conducted at 4:00 pm by the Reverend Randolph Jon Geminder, Rector, St. Mary's Church, Amityville. A funeral service will celebrated Friday evening at 8:00 pm with the Reverend Sandy Koppmann, Pastor, First United Methodist Church officiating. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home at 11:00 am Saturday, June 26, 2021 for a brief prayer to be followed interment in the Amityville Cemetery. Memorial contributions, as an alternative to flowers, may be directed to the Amityville Historical Society Endowment Fund, PO Box 764, Amityville, NY 11701.
