Our heartfelt condolences. One of my greatest joys and fondest memories of Berner High School Class of ‘67 was chorus with Mr.Holdridge. I remember Mrs. Holdridge accompanying us for concerts. What wonderful memories of such special educators. God Rest her soul❤️

Jan is one of those people who changed my life. In 8th grade, I really was not enjoying band. She encouraged me to try out for chorus. I loooved chorus with her and honestly, it changed my life forever. She nurtured my talent and sent me off to high school to be taught by Larry. This gift of music, of the amazing accomplishments that we could create beautiful art together with our peers. It was amazing. Honestly, I knew it only after I left how privileged I was to have the music education offered by the Massapequa SD. Jan changed my life and I will be forever grateful to her for sharing her passion and gift for music. I wish I could be at services to pay my respects. I am holding your family in love as you grieve this tremendous loss. Thank you for sharing Jan with us.
