Obituary of William Francis Hoehn
Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
William H. Hoehn of Copiague, LI on January 14, 2021. Loving companion for 43 years to Nancy Quiney. Father of seven. Grandfather of thirteen and great grandfather of four. Retired Captain, Rikers Island. Retired USPS employee and veteran of the US Marine Corp. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 10:00 am. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Breslau Cemetery, Lindenhurst. The family has requested, as an alternate to flowers, memorial contributions to two charities that were very dear to Mr. Hoehn, The Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL. 33607 and St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
All CDC recommended guidelines will apply to everyone entering the building; face coverings must be worn at all times, social distancing throughout the premises, limited physical and interaction.
Because of the limited capacity regulations (33% which equals 45 people at a time in the chapel at Powell Funeral Home, Inc.) as set by New York State, we ask that all visitors limit their time with the family so as to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to pay their respects. As people vacate the building, additional mourners will be permitted to enter.
