Rose Grahn, 78, of Amityville passed away Monday, Sept 14, 2020 at Good Shepherd Hospice surrounded by family. She was born on October 13, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Vincent and Jenny (Itri) Caracciolo. Family and friends meant the world to Rose. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud nanny who loved to spoil all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the life of family gatherings and cherished all of her siblings, nieces, nephews and their families. She loved spending time with her friends and neighbors. And while she spoke her mind without hesitation, all she wanted was the very best for everyone. She loved cooking and baking and always made sure she made everyone’s favorite dishes and cookies. She took pride in her home which was always immaculate and decorated for the season. And most of all, she always looked beautiful with perfect hair and makeup and the most fashionable clothes. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends, but she is at peace now and finally able to be with her beloved son, Roddy and all her loved ones that predeceased her.
