Joseph M. Ochwat, Jr. of Copiague, LI suddenly on June 19, 2020. Beloved husband of Catherine F. Ochwat. Loving father of John B. Ochwat (Regina) and Yvonne O. Pescitelli. Cherished grandfather of Kyle Ochwat, Keenan Ochwat, Kyra Ochwat and Rob Pescitelli and Brianna Pescitelli. Dear brother of LaVerne Malinowski. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 11-1:00 pm and 3-5:00 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be celebrated at 4:40 pm by Deacon Phil Mills of Our Lady of the Assumption RC Church, Copiague. Interment with Military Honors will take place Monday, June 29, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Calverton National Cemetery.

At the present time, due to the gathering restrictions during the COVID 19 pandemic, only 40 people are allowed in the building at any one time.
