Doris Mae Kretz, longtime resident of Amityville, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020. Beloved wife of the late William A., Sr. Loving mother of William A. Kretz, Jr (Leslie), Robert A. Kretz (Diane), Nancy M. Siry (Dennis) and Caroline R. Kretz (the late Charles Liu). Cherished grandmother of Billy Kretz (Ally), Courtney Weglinski (Dan), Carly Kretz (Kayvon Roberts), Brian Kretz, Bonnie Bove (Jared), Kelly Siry, Rozwell Siry (Bean Ser), Bobby Kretz and Cassie Kretz. Adored great grandmother to her 5 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Roger Scheffer (the late Caryl) and Roger Scheffer (Melisse). Fond sister in law to Joan Kretz. Mrs. Kretz is also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Following a private family service, Mrs. Kretz will be interred in Trinity Cemetery, Amityville. The family has requested, as an alternative to flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice. Condolences to the family may also be placed on the Tribute Wall of the website.
