Watson, Jr. – Frederick E., of Amityville, NY on May 6, 2019. Beloved husband of Dorothy A. Watson. Loving father of Susan Hopkins (Jack), Noreen McAloon (Dennis), John Watson (Lisa) and Therese Bausenwein (Michael). Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of many. Caring brother of Peggy Hoffman. He was a proud WW II Veteran. He was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and President of both the Holy Name Society and the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Aidan's Roman Catholic Church. He was responsible for many charitable works at each of his parishes. Reposing Wednesday 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm at Powell Funeral Home, 67 Broadway (110), Amityville, NY. Funeral Mass 9:30 am Thursday at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, Amityville. Interment with Military Honors at Calverton National Cemetery. Donations can be made in Frederick's name to Hospice Inn or to Combat Wounded Veterans, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
