Pearline Knight Davis was the daughter of the late Mr. Josh Knight and Mrs. Pearl Brown Knight.  She was born on March 28, 1927 in Johnson County, Georgia. The Angels of Glory came on Sunday, April 21, 2019 and departed with her to a place of joy and to have eternal rest in the presence of the Lord.  

Pearline was united in holy matrimony to the late Ennis Davis on December 27, 1947. To this union six children were born. 

She joined te Bethlehem Baptist Church as a youth and served faithfully in Georgia. She left Georgia to further her education and relocated to New York in 1946. She studied Nursing at Pilgrim State Hospital. She worked at the Internal Revenue Service in Hauppauge, New York. Before retiring she was a driver for Medicla Transportation, for many years with students who were with medical needs. She retired in 1981 helping and extending her love for others. 

By characer, she was a hard worker, resilient person, gifted gardner, a sense of humor and a caring mother. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. 

Pearline leaves to cherish beautiful memories:

One sister, Winnie L. Hurst of Wrightsville, GA. One son, Cardell Davis. Three daughters, Sheila Joyner, Veita Francois and Denise Reid. One daughter in law, three sons in law, eleven gradnchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
