Obituary of Bruna R. Soper

Bruna R. Soper of Massapequa, LI on February 7, 2019. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years William E. in 1997. Loving mother of the late Steven A., Sr. (Eileen) and Linda Finnegan. Cherished Nonna of Lauren Patruno (Dino), Steven A. Soper, Jr. (Nicole Luongo) and William Finnegan. Adored great grandmother of Nicola Patruno. Mrs. Soper is also survived by her many nieces and nephews in Italy. Mrs. Soper loved to garden and was a seamsteress by trade, she had wonderfule sense of humor, loved her family and was known to enjoy a prank now and again. Mrs. Soper came to the US from Italy at an early age and always said how proud she was when she became a citizen. She was very patriotic, loved this country, expressing it often. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm at the funeral home. A wake service will be conducted Sunday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 11, 2019 in Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Carmans Rd., Massapequa Park at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Long Island National Cemetery, East Farmingdale.
