Burton T. Koza, Jr. of Amityville, LI suddenly on January 2,2019. Devoted teacher for 42years, 39 years at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parochial School Lindenhurst. Political activist, member of the Town of Babylon Zoning Board and a Democratic Leader in the Town of Babylon. Beloved husband of Margaret N. Loving father of Jason B. Dear brother of Diane Egglinger (Steve). Fond uncle of Adrienne Egglinger McCall (Michael), Eric Egglinger (Nicole), Courtney Egglinger Blekicki (Walter), Diane Warner (Scott), Jill Stoll (Artie) and Stacy Muthig (Frankie). Dear great uncle to Kyle McCall, Addison Egglinger, Logan and Luke Warner, Aric and Morgan Stoll, Francis and Desmond Muthig. Fond brother in law of John Smolinsky and Allen Smolinsky (Marilyn). Reposing Thursday evening, January 17, 2019 from 7-9:30 pm and Friday, January 18, 2019 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm at the funeral home. Father William Brisotti will conduct wake prayers Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father William Brisotti Saturday 10:15 am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church, Wellwood Ave.,Lindenhurst. Cremation will be private.
