Gail Carston Grimwood posted a condolence
Sunday, December 13, 2020
While 2 years+ have elapsed, I have a message for Ann Budd. I’m Gail Carston Grimwood and worked with Ann at Grumman. My thoughts arose today after reading of the loss of a young sailor. Ann’s brother was lost in an accident while serving in the Navy when we worked at Grumman. I have never forgotten Ann...she was so in love with Kenny. I live just outside of New Orleans and pray this message can be sent to Ann. Gailgrimwood@gmail.com. Thank you

“A Beautiful Soul”
I’ll always remember good times spent at one of my very favorite Uncles house! My Uncle Ken....
Memorable good times with my Aunt Ann and my cousins; Debbie, Kenny, Patty, Susan and Tommy.
When I think back-in-the-day I still remember Uncle Ken’s humble smile as he greeted us when my family and I arrived to visit! He always smiled and yet, was a man his family respected and adored!
My last special visit was a few years back. My family and I were invited for Thanksgiving. We shared fond memories and had good times and talks about my childhood. Stories were told to my own children.
You sat at the head of the table for Thanksgiving with your family surrounded by you and us and other relatives. Your smile spoke a thousand words of how happy and grateful you were of your family ♥️
Uncle Ken, you lived your life with your soulmate, my Aunt Ann and your incredible five children!
Your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will forever adore your unconditional love you gave to all of them, always!
I love you and miss your smile!
Love Always & forever,
Theresa ♥️

My warm thoughts and joyful memories of Uncle Ken are in my heart this week. My childhood memories of Amityville, New York are my greatest. Spending a lot of time at Budd Paradise with Uncle Ken, Aunt Ann and my cousins made my childhood fun and adventurous. These precious memories will be forever engraved in my heart. I was extremely lucky to have such a positive uncle in my life and his joy for life was magnetic. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to the family that had to say goodbye this week. My love to you all!!

Sending my deepest sympathy to Aunt Ann and to my Budd cousins. Your Dad lives on in you. Growing up he taught all of us about the importance of family and all of you are living that through your families. He's now with his sister Lois. Rest in Peace Uncle Kenneth.

Although a lot of time has passed since I’ve seen you, I will always remember having fun at your house! From swimming in the pool to running around the house!! You have always been a great father to all of your children and a great husband to Ann. I will never forget you and knowing you are at peace, talking to my Dad, and the Lord, May God Bless You! Please keep an eye on your family! They will forever miss you!!

This Poem is dedicated to our Dad!
What is a Dad?
A Dad is a person who is loving and kind. Who so often knows what’s on your mind. He’s someone who listens, suggest, and defends-
A Dad can be one of your very best friends.
He’s proud of your triumphs, but when things go wrong. A Dad can be patient and helpful and strong.
In all that you do a Dad’s love plays a part-
There’s always a place for him deep in your heart.
Thank you Dad not only for the little things you’ve done, but for all the truly important gifts that you have given us!
We will Miss you and always Love you!
We will keep you with us in our Heart and Soul!
Love always and forever!
Debra and Family
