Bura - John of Amityville, NY on April 16, 2018, at 95 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Sofia Bura nee Karagandis. Loving father of William Bura (Elizabeth) and George Bura (Joan). Cherished grandfather of Daniel Bura (Stacey), Marissa Dabbraccio (Nicholas), Nicholas Bura and Timothy Bura. Caring great-grandfather of Anthony, Charlotte and John. Reposing Thursday 2 - 4:30 PM & 7 – 9:30 PM at Powell Funeral Home, 67 Broadway (110), Amityville. Prayer Service Thursday 7:30 PM. Funeral Service Friday 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.
