Obituary of Kevin P. Kretz

Kevin P. Kretz of East Moriches, LI (formerly of Amityville) on October 8, 2017. Beloved husband of Meghan. Loving father of Kevin Peter, Jr. and Cormac John. Dear son of Stephen W. and Denise M. LaBorne Kretz and son in law of John and Doreen Allen Fay. Devoted brother of Daniel (Dawn) Kretz, Patrick (Claire) Kretz and Kathleen (James) Nalls and brother in law of Ryan (Megan) Fay and Erin (Eric) Bielski. Cherished grandson of Joan McDonough Kretz and Janet M. Riley LaBorne. Kevin is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Saturday St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville. Cremation will be private. The family has suggested memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Medical Donation Program at: PO Box 5028, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5028.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
