Barbara deQuillfeldt passed away suddenly on October 12, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving mother of Billie Sweeney (Patrick) and Catherine Bedell (brian). Cherished grandmother of Lauren Johnson (Michael Bratland), Dana Gorlin (Eitan and Dylan Louis Bedell. Adored great grandmother of Alden James Bratland and Max Louis Gorlin. Mrs. de Quillfeldt was also loved by her step grandchildren and their families. The family will receive friends Sunday, October16, 2016 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 PM at the funeral home. Prayers will be held at 7:30 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated Monday, October 17, 2106 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 25 Broadway, Amityville, Reverend Stefanie Bennett officiating. Cremation will be private. The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to MSK Colon Cancer Research and American Macular Degeneration Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
