Patricia Caramanico of Amityville, L.I. on November 30, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Pat was a longtime school monitor at the Northwest Elementary School in Amityville. Beloved wife of John and loving mother of Cortney Caramanico and Melanie Schnaars. Cherished grandmother to Ashley, Thomas and John Schnaars. Dear daughter of Onofrio and the late Josephine Patricia Amato. Fond sister of Marianne Valeo. Following a private cremation, a funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 6, 2014, 9:30 AM at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, 37 Union Ave., Amityville.
