Richard, Donald R. of West Babylon, NY (formerly of Copiague) on October 20, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Virginia E. Loving father of Susan R. Levenberg and her husband Larry, Nancy R. Zukowski and her husband Michael and the late Donald R. Richard, Jr. Adored grandfather of Christopher Laurence Levenberg and his wife Amanda Leigh Goldberg, William Alexander Levenberg and Rebecca Allison Levenberg. Cherished great grandfather of Alexander Christopher Levenberg. Dear brother of Edward Richard and Kenneth Richard. The family will receive friends Friday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home, inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Funeral service Saturday 10:00 A.M. Simpson United Methodist Church 30 Locust Ave., Amityville. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family has suggested memorial contributions, as an alternative to flowers, to The L.I. Council of Churches Emergency Food Program, 1644 Denton Green, Hempstead, N.Y. 11550. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
